I think when you consider the amount of legislation there is in Switzerland these days it's amazing that there's any kind of scene there at all. That turbo must have been popular with the local police or were things more open at the time?

today its mucho easier because we have some shops which have all the documents for the MFK ( motor vehicle control )

Its pretty easy.....if U have the money for the documents U get the authority for registration.........maybe ( if the modifications are not to brutal )

with my Turbo i was allways  the local police best friend....hahahahaha..... not really

but then.............i was to fast  for`em anyway.....hahahaha.......they never caught me

thanx for the flowers. Yes U are right. The rear wheels have been custom made by a swiss  wheelfabricator back in the late 80s. I dont remember the size but i think it was like  8 X 15 (stock size is 5.5 X 15)

I remember the car. It was made out of a  piece of sh*ç ! That was the most rusty thing ever...and we allways had problems showing the engineroom at the shows, do U remember? People were to serious at the time....they did not understand the meaning.

I have some more pics to show. Do U remember ,, Under Pressure ,, ? I will post em soon

hey, cool to have some more swiss guys here! great pics!! wow that peach bug from Roy is THE CAR that got me into volkswagens! I think I saw it in the early or mid 90s cruising downtown Lucerne and it just struck me like "I need to have something like THIS!". Until that time, I had only know large-fendered "Porsche" lookers...

and I remember to have seen that black turbo bug in Fribourg, maybe seven or eight years ago. I talked to the owner at that time, a tuning garage guy, and he told me that he had bought it from a guy from Basel. I was so impressed because the car had a "Der Renwagen Fuhrers" decal in the side window!  Cool

hi there

yes its a long time ago we were on the road with these bugs. Roys ,, Peach ,, was sold  to Lucern i thing in early 90s. My ,, Turbo,,  was sold to K-Street Tuning several years ago....and he sold it to a collector from Fribourg.   I never saw neither of them again.

By the way: say hello to Big D / Andy Sigrist / Chris Merz......those guys were also in the scene from beginning. Sadly they never joined EINHEIT 11

PS: hän dir jetzt ändlich eure neue clubname gfunde? ( that was swissgerman and means vuestra coches estar de punta en blanco ) im just kidding

have found some more pics from the past. I think thats enough for the moment. I dont wanna  bore the pants off so.

Herbs Pink Lady from late 80s ( that car was a multishow winner all over EU. It was pictured  in different VW Mags & also in Mike Keys
book ,, Custom Beetles ,,

Cageros ( Cagero V-Dub Shop in Switzerland ) 70s ,, Sparmodel ,, which Tom painted in 92 / silver with salmon scallops

Pieruels multishow winner Variant ( SQRBCK ). Preowned by Tom....now in hands of a dude who chopped the car to death

Toms Fat Attack Bug before he installed t- bars & the Turboengine

,,Under Pressure,, one of the most detailed  swiss custom show bugs ever. Build by Tom & Roy ( and metalfabricator Pedrazzi ) for CAL ( custom atelier Löffler ). Löffler was Toms boss at the time. Car was sold to HuhHuh?? and never showed up since then

yello chop was build here in switzerland many many years ago. My green chop was build in the U.S by a guy from Virginia around 86.
