 Angry

Hi guys can anybody out there help me.

I'm running 48 IDF's on my Oval and seem to have developed a fuel leak, this is what happens:

Start up no problem, run no problem no fuel leak and then when I turn the engine off (and fuel pump) after about 1-2 minutes I get a fuel seapage through the mixture screw and then through the throttle shaft underthe carbs.

Today I installed a service kit including the o ring on the outside of the mixture screw, needle valve, fuel inlet filter but I've still got a leak.

Just wondered if anybody could help.

Cheers

i had also fuel leaking in the carbs and that would cause a hiss of the hot fuel dripping in the hot manifolds. the O rings were cracked and i cured it with new ones. but i managed to twist one when installing it and the problem stayed with that barrel. so make sure the o-rings don't twist and are good.

and maybe clean the block off balls inside the carb... if the fuelchambers are dirty.
