Carlos... you hide your Russian accent rather nicely. I would've never guessed.

Well, do they? The top car is Polish and the bottom German...  Cheesy

Interesting question, never heard of a proper Russian cal-looker. But many of the neighboring countries have lots of them.
Just look at Scandinavia!!!  Grin

Lose the roof mounted boat anchor... I mean, roof rack and that beige Trabant would be a cool little car. Nicely done and I dig the color.

I looked rather hard when I was there last year.  Not a single air cooled.  Some late model stuff, but nothing pre 90's.  Amazing country.

I'm not sure that Russia would allow much in the way of something that had an Adolph connection. They're a little sensitive in that area. And Carlos is a big Commie.

I'm in Budapest (Hungary) and the VW Scene here is very small indeed.

I'm English and worked in the VW Industry for many years. Russia has few old cars and as here in Hungary, a car was seen as a luxury for many years and most were kept running on Spit & Sawdust for years.

It's not uncommon to see a single car with 4 (Yes 4) completely different wheels (sizes & make) If it keeps the thing running then they are well happy.

The VW scene here is divided into people with money and people without and the gulf is massive believe me.

As far as I'm aware, Russia is pretty much the same and there people with money like to show it off with wheels that reflect their wealth.

However Cool a Bug is... It's sadly just another old car to these guys.
