It’s a little bit short and easy , Paul (aka Plasticblack), isn’t it ?

Only few days after your registration, you come here, on the Lounge, a peaceful, friendly and happy place, to ‘insult’ me (because I’m the first concerned by this sad and poor story) and all French people. And now the story is closed for you and I must forgot it (like you advised me) ?

Sorry but the story is only beginning for me.
I wait few days, since my holidays’s come-back last sunday night, to answer because I wanted to have in my hands all informations about this mysterious cash’s disappearing.
I spent lot of time and energy since monday morning to find what happen and where is your cash now. And I can say that you don’t really help me, your prefer put fire on the Lounge.  But you’re in travel now, isn’t it ? So I understand why you don't send me pics of your postal money order with date of shipping, serial number, total price paid, etc…. that I need to transmit to my central post officer.

For your information, I phoned him yesterday (and it’s very complicated to have the right person). The guy searched and confirmed (but I knew that yet !!!) that I never received an International Postal Money order or money transfer wire in August and in July too. It’s easy to know that because, in France, La Poste must register all arriving postal money orders (national and international).
For the French people, if someone wants to call him for listen his point of view which prove what I’m saying, I can give his name and his contact phone call in PM.

The week before my depart (the August 2nd), I informed you that was in holidays for 3 weeks (I was in Italy) and that I can’t shipped parts if I didn’t received your cash before this date (I was at 1000 km to my home and not connected), isn’t it ? Sorry but when i sell parts, i always wait to receive cash before to ship tehm. I went and your cash not arrived. So you can understand my surprise when I discovered, after few weeks of travel, that your cash was always not arrived and that you opened insulting and liing posts here.

Like I said, I spent lot time for understanding what happen exactly since monday. And I discover (on your blog : http://www.vw70stimetunnel.com/) that you don’t only buy nostalgia parts but that you sell them too. And you make a real new business with that. So, can I imagine that real French addicts that we are, here on the Lounge, and that they sell parts only to buy other ones and increase theirs own private collections, can be a competition for you and your business ?

I apologize to the Lounge moderators and other loungers for this –too long- post. I really don’t like to write this type of reply here but it is important for me that true is know. And I’d like to thanks members who support me, who know me (in Europe or in US) and who know that me, like other (French) guys here, we're only motivated by passion and love of VW Aircooled and Cal look spirit (for 15 years, for me).

I don't want polemicate with my reply.
I only want to tell the true.
Parts are at home and i wait his cash since end of july to ship them.
French sellers (and buyers), like GB, US, German, Deutch ones are fairs and honnests. But sometimes, one is not . And i don't understand this global 'racism'.
I'm a little bit patriot (lol) but i don't want that french people are "insult" accompany reason of lie.
I never receive this cash.

I'm very surprised that you've decided to bring this matter up, because it's not YOU that is currently 200 Euros out of pocket

If at some point in any of my post/comments/observations I've accused YOU PERSONALLY (by name or insinuation) of anything, You can state it now?

 I think that the clammer to have a name applied to this saga, came from other sources and was not taken up on by me...

Don't make the mistake of starting to accuse anybody (least of all me) ony kind of wrong doing in this matter and further I'd calm yourself down with regard to the 'You're the New Boy' don't mess with me.... Also don't start with the 'You come on here and insult me'... stuff because you have no reason whatever to be insulted and if ANY of most posts/comments/observations insulted you in ANY way just let me know?

 I'd suggest that you've brought this matter back into the spotlight and made it a personal matter (not perhaps the best course of action)

As far as I'm concerned (and I've already stated this) I consider the money lost and put in down to experience (a bad one..)

I'm not sure what you hope to achieve by going public, because until this point nobody had any idea who, why or what was involved in this sorry matter.

My point in posting was to let people know od MY recent/current experiences and judging by the number of people that contacted me with information about previous similar deals (with various people, not you)  My post seems more justified than before.

If all yopu've got to moan about is that YOU feel a little hurt by the speculation... Just reasure yourself that YOU are no worse off than you were before and had you chosen (like me) to forget the whole matter... things might have been better.

Finally your point about me buying and selling VW parts is rather stupid...

As far as I know.. unless there is some French Law that says otherwise...

I can do whatever the Hell I like with items I buy?? Are you in fact saying if you knew that I 'Buy & 'Sell' that you would not have sold to me??

I buy, I sell, I collect & even Swap... Do you have aproblem with that at alll???

As for your statment about the French 'Being Competition'.... what is that supposed to mean??

Competition is good for the Scene and the VW market in general. I'm never interested or worried by what 'YOU' call competition.. I look at it as like-minded people doing what they enjoy....

Competition... What a strange way (and very incitful) to look at things.

Finally I think it IS Importnat that the truth is known!

What exactly would that be then??

As I see it the truth is:

 I AGREED TO BY SOME PARTS FROM YOU.

 WE AGREED A PRICE.

 I SENT THE MONEY

 THE MONEY HAS DISSAPEARED.

 If I've missed anything out please feel free to put it right.

 Finally Please don't make the Mistake of making this into 'More' of a situation than it already is.

Your final statment about 'People who Support Me' is made pruely in an attempt to get people toi take sides in this matter and cause further problems..

There was 100% NO need for you to have continued this matter, but perhaps your 'feeling' got the better of you?

I have NO idea why beacuse you haven't lost anything in this matter at all.

Who was the real loser in this matter then??

One final thing... Don't Ever call me a liar again. Did I feel the need to Name your name?? Or Call you a Liar or anything else for that matter??

At this point I'm going to make a suggestion to you.

And it's a suggestion I think you need to consider carefully.

 I suggest YOU don't play games with me? I wasn't aware I'd played ANY games with you?

Don't make the mistake you've already made and ACCUSE me of anything further in this matter and cut out the 'self righteous' attitude. You certainly have nothing to feel upset about....

Beacuse as I've clearly stated YOU haven't lost anything OR been accused of anything either and certtainly not publicly been called a 'LIAR'...

I haven't named or accused anybody..Yet you felt the need to bring this matter onto a personal level! You decided to name names and make accusations.

I don't expect to see the money again, so why are YOU so upset??

You should be thanking your lucky stars the our roles were not reversed and YOU had lost 200 Euros??

sorry to get into this but i can not help but think this is OFFtopic for all people not concerned with this deal. i feel sorry that this transaction went bad, but get it sorted through PM. i think both off you can be smart enough to work it out.

and, why are topics and answers longer about complaining then the good stories i can read on this site from time to time. we need more long, good stories!

yeah...i'm probably not helping either, but i`ve had a few pints and here are my thoughts...

I'll refund Plasticblack his money if he so wishes just to stop this nonsense.

i have never met or spoken to IP359 by the way, but there's no place for threatening behavior on this forum.

Getting my 200 Euros back was never my intention.

I think you'll find that on more than one occasion, I've already accepted the money is lost.

The fact here is/was to alert other people to possible problems and judging by the emails I've received, others are already aware of potential problems with such ransactions.

I made a decision NOT to name any names in regard to this matter, but that was wasted due to the decsion on the part of the other party in his matter deciding to open the box and start making accusations.

I certainly don't want or ask for my money back at this point.

But I agree there is no need to make vielled and frankly pointless threats, because I've been there before and know just what the outcome of this can be.

With any luck your email, will put an end to this nonsense, as i attempted to do previously by LOCKING the first thread?

I didn't invite the matter to be reserected in such a childish and fruitless manner.
