Hey Erich,  I didn't know you were on this forum.  Congratulations on the "Heroes of Antique Volkswagening" Award!  I just saw that in the latest Hot VWs.  I have been fortunate enough to nominate a few of the previous award winners.  You are a most deserving recipient.  Again I say congratulations!

Don,
Thank you so much! It is a great honor to recieve the Common Gear Award, we are truly greatful.

Kyle,
I made it to BOR and hung out with Larry McKenzie and his "Goodenough" drag car. He red lighted right before the semi-finals. We told him we were ashamed and left..... LOL

Sorry I missed you at the show. I was glad it was quite cooler for a change. I watched some of the races but was in the swap and sitting near my car for quite a while. We still need to do a Napa cruise. I can't wait to see the 48 Split ....Kyle

Kyle do you remember the night we all found you with your ladyfriend out in San Ramon? About 8 of us spying on you from my Vanagon in the Wells Fargo parking lot. Man I've never seen anybody run as fast as a car before.
