The "California Look" came to be with Jere's now famous article in the 2/75 Hot VW's
But we all know cars like this were running around for years prior to that magazine being published.

Were there any features of such cars (aside from full race jobs, like Tar Babe) published before the infamous Cal Look issue of Feb '75? Do you have any of the articles?
