last night I decided to take my girlfriend out for dinner up at mt. charlston here in las vegas, in the '67 of course.  I wasnt sure how far it was or how the car would act up in the elivation, but let me tall you it was a blast.   Turned out it was 26 miles up there and it went from 2500 feet to 7650 feet up some pretty curvy roads. when we left it was about 85 degrees but up there it was around 68.  We ate dinner at an old lodge and then made the decent.  Talk about a good time, and nobody on the roads made it seem like it was just for us.  When we came back down the hill and onto the freeway it was only two miles to the off ramp,  the perfect amount for a short romp of the throttle.

Now its time to take the motor and trans out and get ready for bug-o in october.
