Car from the early 90's i think...bright orange sedan with detailed Fuchs.
Maybe you guys remember the Bug? Can anybody post any pictures of this car?

hey Jim...i LOVE that car....(apart from the interior.. Wink)    such a cool color....

it was featured in a really old copy of Volksworld....early 90's??.... which i have somewhere, i'm just off out so i cant look now, but i can try to dig it out tomorrow night......unless anyone else on here can do it tonight?

i'll keep on it.

yeah Kobus, it was a pale peal orange, i remember it was called 'weathercliff pearl orange 'in the feature, had detailed fuch's and an 80's style beige velour interior.......and IDA's of course. Grin

oh...i dont think it was a '67....i recall it being a 65/66......but i could be wrong....

I guess that I know that car as well. Did it feature beige scat (?) seats and a beige Lecarra steering wheel or something like that? It was pictured in a beetle book I own that was terribly translated from english to german. I guess the book´s title is "Superkäfer". Unfortunately I can´t find it as I have recently moved to a new adress and lots of stuff is still in boxes.
Maybe Georg/DFL can help out?

this picture was taken the same day has the hot vw dkp 2  mag ask deano on the lounge he know the story  Wink the picture was taken in 77 and the dkp2 was the june 77 issue and the other was the february 80 issue  3years of distance between 2 but taken the same  day funny no ??  Grin

the hot vw's cover is a  totally different car......

....yeah tobi, you're right, i think it did have that kinda steering wheel.......

i'll get on the case again with the magazines over the weekend.........

Oh, I just picked up that book in October.  I didn't realize that was the car.  I'm too busy looking at the Berglar and Brinton's 67 in that book.
