1967 sedan, stock height, black or VW zenith blue. Bumpers pulled off but otherwise stock, Enkei/Flat 4 5-spokes in matt-bronze-grey finish, polished lip.
165/15 Vredstein classic radials in front, new Goodyear Blue Streak vintage race tire on rear. 88mm Mahle x 74 or 76mm welded, good orig German case, 40 x37 welded VW head, FK87, on-the-edge CR for pump gas, 40hp stale air shroud, short manifolds, 48 Webers,  010 or Vertex, tucked "1978" style QPs on vintage merge header.

Should somebody build this?

Stock height would be cool, but I think it will require some work to get it to sit "just right"—the saggy butt '67 look would not be good here.  Also tire combo will be important.  I think your combo above will work, but would have to require a test-fit for sure.

Much easier to picture in black/red intrerior than Zenith Blue, also.

I kinda like the soggy bottom boy look of a stock '67....   Roll Eyes

I'd love to see some new cars come around, straying away from the current trends. If I only had any money.....

Sounds like a nice car that shuoldn't be too expensive to build. I paint it L630 VW blue, though, but I'm biased.  Grin

Your stock weight, pump gas compression, is going to be a turd with the 87, Jim.
