Danny, debur the two halves where they meet and contact the tube. Round the sharp edge off so it won't cut into the tube if things move.

Don't they still make the boots (rubber, like the bicycle ones) that protect the tubes from the two piece wheels? I used to run those in my EMPI wheels. |
