That is the name of the part I need, on the WolfsburgWest website. It is the name of the small tray left and right in the engine bay. On my 66 the right one has been badly cut during bad surgery somewhere in its past. Now I want to replace it. But the ones on Wolfsburg west cost an arm and a leg, so does anyone know where to source one? The panels from Hookys are well worth the money, I wouldn't settle for anything less. The fit and quality is superior to anything else on the market.

It seems our local pusher can provide this to me, even though it's not in their catalogue. Still a bit expensive so I'll see if I can botch it first. Otherwise I'll probably order them locally, saves the trouble of having it posted. But thanks for the tip anyway  |

Now that is a cool idea. --louis The narrower tray only applies for early cars. If yours is a late car already (67 on) then they will be no narrower. If you ask for a narrowed tray he makes the early style in the late style jig (8mm narrower). tom. |

Well guy's i have been reading this post and would like to know if hooky's does 75 on superbeetle rear apron. Also does he do frame heads for the standard beetle.

I'm sure he doesn't do those. I think the apron (it's the bulged one, right?) would still be available from VW, if not from VW Heritage ( www.vwheritage.com), and frameheads I think are only available from the usual places. Hooky only does the parts listed on his website. |

Everyone on the website plus the early narrow side plates and >67 Heater channel closing plates with the correct pressing and curve to them (top notch as per usual). tom. |
