demello full circle cranks

[Bad bug]

Has anyone run a demello full circle crank i need feed back on this.

Personally, I don't understand the concept/possible advantages over a standard c/w crank. But, if you're thinking of going for a welded crank, I can't reccommend DPR enough.

Heard bad things about full circle cranks,search for it

I had an 84 full circle in my rail for a short time before it "bent" .... probably due to a few (over-reved) missed shifts.

SPG Roller Cranks have always been full circle.  In the early 70's a company called Weber as well as the late Bud Whitfield had cranks out that were cast full circular cranks.  I know that you could get them in a couple different strokes.  I ran a 74mm VW rod journal Bud Whitfield as my first stroker crank.  If the concept was supposed to help smooth out the rpms or improve the qualities of a crank not whipping...mine did not survive the test. I had the motor assembly fully balanced (Crank,flywheel & pressure plate - along with rods and pistons) and it still beat the centermains out of my case in less than 20,000 miles and had to be turned .010 on the mains and .020 on the rod journals.

Then again...it could have been the fact that I had to race everyone one who pulled up next to me...ALL OF THE TIME!  :-)
