Gten Tag Alles! Herr Meissner, "Mother" from DKP original club member says hello to CAL Look VW fans all over the world. When I was in DKP, I had a 1964 Bahama Yellow Bus that was modified with I believe a 1935cc motor and twin 2BBl Solex carbs. It had a cam, minor headwork, sump and headers. The motor was built in Greg Aronson's garage before FAT existed. During those early days, Flemming, Aronson and Doug Gordon all hung out at young Aronson's garage as they were always in the process of building a motor or two..I recall them building Mike Mahaffey's Rat Motor that made his car the fastest at the time. I recently had the pleasure of speaking with "Sarge" due to reconnecting with DKP. I plan to visit upcoming events as well. I am going through old photos (40 years ago) of the original DKP Club having a BBQ at my parents home...CAL LOOK VW's were everywhere!  I will forward these pictures to both DKP and to Keith Seume to be put into the archives.

Auf Widersehen!
