everyone knows about his black 67 or should.his newer car is just as good but lower key.the finish is spot on.any pics or info on this?

There was a nice feature on this car in VW Trends. I like this car as well because it has a cool vw color that you dont see very often.

lawrence it was also featured in ultra as well.october 2004 along with the otto brothers pair of nostalgia racecars.johnnys friend bought the black 67 off him so its still close too home.as a looker though i prefer the 64 Cool

Buddy Hale and I dragged the car as a roller from and to Anaheim when he painted it.  I dig the color, too.  Never saw it  completed.  Johnny's black 67 now belongs to Slinger here on the forum.
