So bringing up this post....

To share with you guys the change of wheels on my beetles,

as I don't 100%like the centerlines on my '60, it will get the Fuchs from the orange.

And the orange beetle will get somethingmore period correct (4lug) but still cal-look, and not seen that much recently.... Grin

....Original riviras....4,5 fronts and 5,5 back + spare wheels...

Pics before and after sandblasting +polishing, still needs masking and paint !!!

Nice choice dude. Riviera's are an underestimate choice for a late looker.
I was first looking to Riviera's on mine.  Wink

i like the riviera's a lot, but recently i have a favour for the ones without the square on the spokes, but they don't have them in the two widths like yours. so very cool and that will look good on the car i bet. i still have stickers for you... will give them this year i promise.  Grin

 Grin for sure nicolas !

Hopefully quicker and higher  Grin!.... will try to raise my compression ration to 11:1(actually 9,5:1) and run Bio-ethanol (E85)

But first I have to finish the 60 long gearbox is ready, still need to close the 1776 and put everything back in the car !

I love this car and that's a very cool launch shot. By the way, if you're looking to run E85 and haven't already got the regulator you might want to consider the Mallory one, it's a good bit of kit.

What I forgot to ask Christofe, now you had to change your brakes(disks and drums) from 5- to 4-lug?
So,if you will run your Fuchs-wheels again, you have to change your brakes again.Am I right or am I wrong?

Peter.
