finally made some headway on Sheepster speedster today. Since we're using stock VW rods (not stroker trimmed) I had to massage the roof of case a little today. Got cam dialed in, and did a quick and dirty Bill Fisher/Kay Sissell port smoothing.

getting closer... geometry is set, CR is set, valve to piston is set (we got .515" @ valve with light checking spring), pushrod length is set... even got some valve springs in ans height set.

We're getting there. Sheep, we going to run this on Holleran's dyno?

What cam did you decide on?

274 advertised, 236 @ .050, .319" @ lobe, 108 LC.

I advanced it to 104ATDC
