When were you going to show us pictures of your new project. It did arrive safely, correct?  Was it up to your expectations?

Hey Don,

It did arrive safely and is stowed inside my garage.  And the car was better than I expected, it doesn't even need floor pans. I have never seen a car this rust free and original before. Mucho thanks for helping me find this jewel. I have an offer out on some 356 seats right now and am looking for a vert decklid but not much else going on with it. Unfortunately, I wont be teaching this summer so my source of funding will dry up until the fall semester.

Here is my current thinking for this car. Garnet with a black interior.

You still going to do my seats, door & quarter panels in fat biscuit pattern for me?  I am thinking all black but the real decision is whether or not to do it in leather.  Grin

Sure thing buddy!

Leather... It's a status thing. Most people can't tell the difference from leather to a high quality vinyl. So it comes down to the smell, and if the huge price difference is worth it to you! And sitting directly on either sucks! They are hot in the summer, and ice cold in the winter. I recommend cloth on the seating surface, and vinyl everywhere else- if it's a car you plan on logging some miles in Smiley

I have a set of t-bars that are really nice already but I plan to get a few items from Sil M. later.
