Old school Sea Blue '63 beetle. Original RHD UK car. I have owned the car for nearly 17 years, it was subject to a body off bare metal resto in 1998. It was featured in the July 2001 issue of Volksworld magazine. And has loads of history.
This car has lots of goodies including full set of early mint condition polished and detailed Porsche Fuchs (6" and 7"), under dash Autometer monster Tach and shift light, Berg Shifter, cabrio decklid, front disk brakes, line lock, recent king and links, later (wider) rear drums, Koni adjustable shocks all round, wooden moto-lita wheel, aluminium 2" narrowed front beam, interior trimmed with grey connolly leather and more. All of the petrol tank and suspension bits have been powdercoated black.
The car is real solid I have included lots of underside photos to show how good the car is. The only thing I would say is the car is an older restoration so the paint is not mint, it has a few odd marks. However this still a real nice cool ride.
I thought I would never sell this car, and unfortunately I need the space, I believe I have priced it CHEAP to sell at
£4,850 GBP, all the bits listed above must be worth £3.5k at least! so I think it is a very cheap ride.
It used to have a hot 48IDA 2276cc motor, but now has a 1641cc single weber motor and abarth style muffler for a real old school look!.
It flew through MOT and comes with 12 months UK MOT and TAX exempt! Just ready for the summer!
