I reckon on about 95bhp at 4700rpm, due mainly to the intake restrictions. Am I close to what you're expecting Jim? Smiley

88 x 74 single port, stock valves, cleaned up and straightened ports, 8.4:1, .490" lift x 236' @ .050", stock 30PICT with 48IDA ram horn, 4-into-1 header off heater boxes, Bosch 010, 6lb flywheel

actually, I expect the idle to be somewhat civil. I've run a bit more duration in stock carbed engines that were smaller cc. I based the duration selection for this thing by looking at cams for similar displacement 4 cylinder that ran CIS injection... those things are super sensitive to valve overlap. Not only that, but I timed this cam to reduce intake reversion pulses....  but we'll see....

Are you running 86 octane or 88 octane Lake County Premium?  Grin I'm guessing 52fwhp  or 37 rwhp unless you're running that locked up stock tranny that you bought with that POS  Roll Eyes then it's 25rwhp.

moving right along

finally got rocker geometry sorted out, cam timed in, and believe it or not, the bottom end is buttoned up tight and sealed in a bag. next couple of weekends and longblock should be done.
