seems like all the local news channels are remembering August 1969, when fear tore through much of Southern Calif. Got your White Album qued up?

Even 40 years on, even after all the violence saturating today's media... the Tate-LaBianca murders still seem brutally shocking.

RIP to those slain.

I remember my parents becoming obsessive about keeping the doors locked, and checking to see who was at the door before opening it. In fact, I remember all my friends parents getting that way.
