i found it in vw trends march 1987 ,it was a the texas bug fest in 87

gtv bug owned by rod woodring from bethany, oklahoma

have you ever heard something about this one zach Huh , there's an judson supercharger on the engine

That's a new one on me! It has a lot more goodies on it than mine did! Looks to be a '71... I've never seen a dual port motor fitted with a Judson, bet it ran pretty well!

I knew Ron pretty well back in the 80's.  We used to trade EMPI parts back and forth.  He had found an amazing stash somewhere back there and I had found a few goodies he needed for that car.  If my memory serves me correct, I had an NOS C stripe kit that he used for that car.  He was really into the hobby and had a lot of interesting parts on that car.  Wonder what became of him and the car?
