Hi all, I'm selling a few things to fund new race car build, so first on the list of cool stuff I've accumulated but am never going to use is a set of four 4.5" chrome Empi Sprintstars. These are four bolt ones, dated sometime in 1971 if I remember right.
I bought these off Johnny Grigg a few years ago and realistically I'm not going to use them, so they've got to go. Story goes that they came from the States, off a coastal car, so the two that pointed inland were perfect and the two that pointed out to sea became pitted. That's not to say that they're balls of rust - far from it, but it's better to be honest and say that they aren't as good as the other pair. At least you know they aren't the alloy copies... Wink

Currently the fronts are the good chrome ones, fitted with Firestone F-560 145's, and the back are the not so good ones, fitted with Barum 165's (Johnny used Ercos on the back with slicks so these were just his road wheels!). The black paint is scratching off in places (as you'd expect from 38 year old paint on top of chrome!), but they've never been touched up as far as I can see, so you know they're painted correctly. They've got repro centre caps (from Java I think) with no stickers.

I'm looking for £400 ono - contact me via pm or e-mail through here! Smiley

Just remembered - I'll get some photos tonight.
