Need to find out the dia. of the A-1 Muffler heater box shaft that the pivot lever goes on for the flaps. A friend of mine has a set and the lever's keep sliding off. Want to see what can be done to prevent that. If anybody has a picture, that would also help. Thanks.

You can use a Pushnut to hold the levers in place. I'm thinking its 7MM..my memory is good, just short..

FYI, Tiger e-mailed me and said that it was .256 Dia. So yes, a .250 (1/4") pushnut would work. Thanks again Lanny! AND Tiger @ A1 Muffler.
