Keep in mind that DKP will have a "Pre-Bug-In" Cruise Night on Friday, April 30.
Hope to see you guys there!

You got the pleasure of parking at Bob's today, remember?
The MOTHER of all Spy Cams.....
Had a great time today (well, except for getting stuck in traffic a few times). The trip to Moon Speed Equipment was the best!

nice day to get together, not so nice to be on 5 or 605 freeway. Took me almost 2 hr to get home, usually a 50 min trip.
Hats off to Bill, his car runs very nice, a pleasure to drive. Thanks to everybody for hanging out, and Sarge for sharing pics. See you all in a few weeks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
Your car is looking great! Would you mind telling me what the ride is like in your car, as from my research on the net, your car only runs avis adjusters on the front beam? Non narrowed? Extra travel balljonits? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks David.

Hi David, thanks. The front end is stock width beam, Sway a Way adjusters, all the torsion leaves and stock Boge ball joint shocks. I shortened the bump stops on the shock mounts by about 3/4 inch. I just did some re adjustments to ride height and toe about a month ago and the car rides like a more sure footed stocker. The sway bar is 3/4" with stock VW rubber mounts. Rear is stock VW bars with SAW adjustable spring plates and Konis turned up all the way, with camber stop and tabs on bottom edges of spring plates.

Well, Gregg Bunch, Ron Fleming, Mike Larson and myself never got the word, so we all showed up at Nick's. Bunch arrived in his newly purchased '64 sedan with a "killer" 40hp. It was Ron's birthday so everyone except Lar Lar ended up gong over to El Torito for dinner.
Great to see another DKP I member getting back into the hobby. Gregg and I cruzied a bit down Harbor Blvd. before parting ways. There was a big smile on his face when he turned and I countinued south on Harbor.

No problem. Remember us "OLD GUYS" were having fun long before you "KIDS" ever came on the scene. It was somewhat of a challenge for Ron to eat his dinner with his teeth sitting on the table, but once he was reminded it all worked out

So I guess the fact that all of us have keys to your house and garage would have no bearing on this, would it ??
