Driving Hot VWs for 44 Years Strong!

I recently decided to give my old BUG-O-RAMA engine blow stand a facelift.  New gauges, wiring, plumbing, cooler, and a general update.  It is great to have something to pre-run motors, break in the cam and tune the carbs before stuffing the motor in the car.

Share what you use to pre-run your motors.

Sorry, didn't mean to come across all smat•ss! Reply was from my iPhone so a little brief.

Have run engines up sitting on the floor before now, just bolted up to an empty tranny casing. Fun watching an IDA-equipped 1835 'walk' across the garage floor! Cheesy

002 tranny bellhousing, a can of gas and a battery work great.

Keith....it was pretty funny....Appropriate though.  My test used to be cam warm up then a nice cruise putting different loads on the motor.  Then, come home and let it cool off...adjust the valves and then leave for a road trip.   :-)
