Now that the Notch is as good as sold, I can as well try to get rid of this one. It is rarer than a hens teeth, I've read about crazy prices in the range of 600-800 dollars, so it won't come cheap, but make me a good offer and who knows.

I can take it to the DFL thingie-Mai-jingie this weekend.

It is in good condition, not tested but supposed to work (any one has a good trick to test a tacho?), has slight (very slight) pitting in the painted ring, chrome is good, nothing a good clean up can't fix.

I can't seem to find a date stamp, should it be in ink or rather stamped in like a chassis number would be. If the latter, there is a set of numbers near where the electric connectors are that says 7.70, but I would be surprised if the tach was made in 1970 as it definitely is the earlier style.

As for the voltage, it is both 6 as well as 12 Volt, depending on which connection you use. I do think it has been used in a 12 Volt car though as there is a 12 Volt light bulb in the thing.

I know Jerome (NostalgiaVW67) is very interested, he had already sent me a message yesterday, so it might well be off the market already. I'll update if sold.

Cheers,
Tim
