Having some issues with the NGK DPR8EA plugs. The plug doesn't wants to fire across the gap but fires from beside the ceramic insulator. I figure the blue coil isn't putting out enough juice.

I asked a local supplier about getting the plug without the R or resistor but was advised they aren't available. Do I get a new supplier or is there a better alternative.

I recently switched to NGK DR7EIX. I noticed a pleasurable difference from the copper Bosch I was running.
