Today in the (parfois) sunny Nor-Wal ...

Today it was open day at Pat's in the sometimes sunny Nivelles, north of Wallifornia. Some Wunderwaffe, more nice cars, free drinks and free food and a hole lot of friendly DAS people. Good times.

Hot race cars inside

They even fired the Dyno up, man, did Pat's grandmother not like the sound of that!

A very large garage for sure, more than room enough to display some fine custom bodies.

I don't like kit cars but the 550 has to be the exception that enforces the rule
Awesome.

Yes... what a gorgeous car. I agree with Tero. Normally I don't care for most VW kit cars that I see, that that one is a great exception.

I'm almost positive that only the export models got those, Fabian. Although the larger rectangular ones were more common on the '70 & '71 Karmann Ghia bodies.

A great day in a great place among great people with great cars !!!! isn't it great ?
We cruised down (up in fact ) from Paris with four cars. Lanny the 67 is an awesome motorway cruiser
Here are a few among my favorite cars.
Cal Look Brazilia
Cal look vert
Roland iconic 68
I love the interior & dashboard
Pat's Manx
Fastback
See you there next year just before EBI 4!

NICE! Love the photos, Madfrog... you're right about the cars. Simply gorgeous. Really dig the earth tone convertible, the Brasilia, and the Fastback.

Yes those three feel so "right" and they are not even trying to they just are.
