A bit of sun always brings out the cars! We had a little club meet last night with a few nice cars in attendance - it was a lot of fun!

The Wulstan Pub doesn't have quite the same ring as Nicks  Cheesy Grin but it was a good evening all the same, with that common thread that seems to run through such gatherings around the globe - good times, good friends and nice VW's.

One thing that may be of interest to the UK guys - that black resto cal is the the old James Clay cal looker that was featured (twice if I recall!) in Volksworld in the early 90's, that was grey and then black. Its a little bit of a shame that its ended up going over to the resto look carrying so many trinkets, but thats purely from a personal taste point of view preferring cal lookers as I do... its still a very well done car. And still in very good order after all these years!

And who would think that the beatiful ghia cal looker drives around 120 miles a week! It really is as clean as it looks, and runs a potent JMR 1914 powerplant, although Lee the owner is currently collecting parts for a 2276 to go in over winter.
