Last weekend, my girlfriend and I did a two days cruise through the swiss alps. The weather was beautiful and it was a fun drive, even as a co-pilot only (due to a withdrawal of my drivers licence). But my girl did a good job driving, while the Ghia was struggling a little with the lack of fresh air at an altitude of more than 2400 meters above sea level (7800 ft.).

Some pics...

the famous Tremola road (the old Gotthard route)

in front of...

...the Hotel Furkablick, an old hotel that has been left untouched for decades. The interior is breathtaking, unfortunately it isn't open to the public. There's a small Café only.

On sunny days like these, there are always lots of classic cars on the road. Virtually every two minutes there was some vintage tin passing by.

Why wear high heels and short skirt on a mountain cruise?

 Smiley

Excellent pictures and report, Luftkraft. Absolutely love that car with the proper finish on those wheels, too.  The overall look is timeless and will look just as good many years from now.

Why wear high heels and short skirt on a mountain cruise?

Because it makes for a nice picture.
