Would like to hear lot's off story's about the "rally's" off cal-look clubs that took place in the 70ies...

The club I'm in, Die Volks Freunde, try's to organise rally's in the same spirit too...
We often organise cruise nights, on wich the visitors have to cruise from point A to B using a written guide... and usually about 30 to 50 VW's show up, even if it's an weeknight.
Each year we organise a big rally too, on wich the participants have to drive about 160 km's, with lot's off stops were you get, breakfest, lunch, drinks...
If anybody would be interested in doing such a cruise in Belgium, just follow this weblink...

it's not held in mechelen -- the car on the flyer is Jelle's car -- the car you are showing is Messie's looker -- the trip goes from Liederkerke to Ghent this year -- fun all the way!

LOL... and I thought some of our rallies got screwed up.

We did have a checkpoint shut down by a gang once! We made the mistake of invading their turf.

All I encountered was a drunk redneck on the sheep ralley. There aren't many gang bangers out by Bethany Reservoir LOL. A few years after that sheep ralley I was driving out by Mountain House Road / Highway 4 and I saw the last of the sheep all of us missed. It was frustrating that night but it was still a blast.

Oh yeah, on Bacon Island listening to the Misfits and the Ramones. Paul just graduated Law School. I remember me and Frank pileing up pennies on the tracks and then laughing our asses of when the train would go buy so fast they would blow them off the tracks without squishing them.

I remember getting a call at 11:30 that Wenzel just flipped his bug into a telephone pole at 60 mph after leaving the go kart track. Boy was he lucky that night.
