Guys,

what do you think about backup lights used as turn signals? We rarely see these today Sad
Was it popular back in the days? I saw a few period pictures but obviously less popular than Lucas!

Those are stock Hella reverse lights found on 67 bugs, 67-69 type 3s and 67-71 buses and some other German cars from the same era.

I would not put it on my car, but I like it. It fits very well on these 2 cars.

I kinda like them,being different.Like on Rick Sadler's bug,just perfect.

prefer them on the blue car, might be the sloping headlights and their location that makes it more appealing to the eye
