Due to upgrades ready for next season our 'old reliable' 1914 engine is up for sale - this is a complete engine with tinware, alternator etc - will not come with carbs/manifolds or Dizzy - but everything else

If you search back through the jagerbug build threads you can find the pics of this being assembled - spec as below

1914 cc Wbx cranked type 1 case
Dual relief case modded to take counterweighted wasserbox 69mm crank running a 210mm lightened flywheel and a 210mm van pressure and centre plate
engle 120 cam, straight cut cam gears, 26mm schadek pump, fullflow oiling with all filter mount and pipework/filter included,
Pistons match weighted and rods matched too
Cut to length moly push rods, bolt up rocker shafts, stock heads modded to take dual valve springs and ports hand ported.Compression ratio upped to 9-1
Tinwear/fanshroud/alternator /pulleys etc inc

Basically - bolt on a set of carbs, add a dizzy and exhaust & you are ready to run

This engine has done over 200 passes on the strip, some road miles too & pulls like a train - its still in the car so if you want to test it prior to purchase its not a problem - it was given a full check over and service/oilchange prior to Vw action in sept - has done about 20 miles since then Cheesy

This was taken at vw action

Its a top laugh to drive on the street - plenty of power but still idles like a stocker in traffic and runs cool

We had'nt planned to sell this as its been our spare but we really want to get the 2276 back in for next season and need the funds
hence £ 950 gets you some rapid street action or a good bracket racing engine for next seasons VWDRC as its incredibly consistent Cheesy

Because i had it spare & decided it would be stronger and more robust than a stock T1 - it seemed to be as it did over 200 passes on the quarter mile being revved to 6000 rpm Cheesy
