There is a pic of one in the How To Hot Rod VW Engines book. I remember it saying something about getting terrible mileage Roll Eyes

I've always liked the look ... right out front, IN YOUR FACE!
Better yet, anyone have a spare single Berg 58 or 62 Terminator?!!! Shocked
That would be AWESOME! Grin

I remember, way back when (mid 70s) there was a guy my brother ran once or twice ... used a single sidedraft on a Bug, pointed towards the rear of the car & required a modified decklid. Ran very well, especially against my brother's Holley BugSpray Cheesy.

There was a guy here in Phoenix that ran a Carter 4-barrel on his bug and it worked great.  He was getting better than 30MPG with much improved performance.  Don't recall the engine size, but it was not large.  The guy was very ingenious!

I had both the 48IDA manifold with no adapter and the sidedraft manifold. Ran the IDA on my 1679cc engine w/roller crank. Never got to use the sidedraft. Engine combo worked good with the IDA. Dont have any pict's from that long ago.
