Another Drag Racing legend.  An associate at work has a set of Mondello heads on his 67 Camaro.  He will never part with his car. A lot of the early rodding legends are getting up there in age.

R.I.P. Joe.  My first car was a 1970 Olds Cutlass that I Hot Rodded.  I always had a thing for Oldsmobiles, don't know why.  Once I found out about Joe and Mondello Performance parts I always wanted to build a Mondello / Olds motor.  Another legend is gone....but surely not forgotten.

R.I.P. Joe, the Godfather of Oldsmobiles! All of my dads cast iron 392 hemi heads were ported by Sush when we worked for Joe. I remember going out to his shop with my dad and Joe P. to pick up heads when I was about 9 years old. THAT group along with Mickey Thompson were so. cal. HORSEPOWER.
