Oooooh, I so want to build a nice electric 67. But the batteries, sheez, costs as much as a nice big and loud engine, and more! 10-15K for a battery pack  Shocked That is what. Is holding me back.

But watching the White Zombie race, makes you think ...

By the way there is a very nice electric beetle racing in the UK: black current is it's name, if I'm not mistaken.

I've just been watching the live feed on Eurodragster.  Congrats to Sam & the team, they have run 10.02 @ 134mph within the last 10 mins.  Fantastic performance.  Lets hope they get a 9 this afternoon.   Smiley  I believe the 10.02 is a world record.  (According to the comentary team anyways).
