Am I the only one running reproduced 51.5 idas with fucked up float levels??? Come one guys, somebody must have had similar problems. Im just wondering if its the carbs there is something wrong with or it really just is an adjusting issue!

I had to turn mine down to 1.9 to make them work. 51,5 with glass ball vent, 2386ccm, FK98...

Interresting beetlebug, im gonna try that next time I get the chance to work a little on the car. But the funny thing is I put my buddys floater and vent in my carbs, (he has a set of aftermarket 48 ida with steal vent) and the problem was solved.. But I think he wants them back again

Maybe because of the steel vent yes, but dont know for sure... Is the glass ball vent normally more sensitive than the steal ones?

Normally I don`t know but mine sure was. Try with less pressure to see if you experience the same as I did.

So, I got the problem fixed I think Bend the little thing on the floater back and forth a couple of times and came up with a setting that worked out.But how can I be sure that the chamber is full when the glass ball vent close for the flow? So that I will not run out off gaz when I put the pedal to the metal Jakob
