Among some parts I've acquired recently are a set of two-piece double jamb-nut pushrod tubes.. not sure of the brand, could be Scat or Empi... anybody have any experience with these?  I know I read rave reviews of the Jaycee versions, just wondering if these are worth using on anything, as I personally have only experience with stock tubes.  Huh

I used to carry a set of them for emergencies.  Luckily I never had to use them, but if you break a push rod or a push rod seal starts leaking badly you can fix it on the spot.  I also carried a spare set of push rods.  They are good for a temporary fix only as they will eventually start leaking.

scat does not make the double jam nut adj pushrod tubes, whatever you do make sure you do not overtighten them, you can break the bottom of the rocker box area

Thanks guys, for the info.  I have no idea who made these, got 'em in a lot of parts recently and have seen them in magazines and in catalogs, but no experience with them personally.  I think the guy I got them from had them in a sandrail or buggy or baja, or something to that effect.
