THinking of all of you at the Classic and Our Calif Friends.  Know Gary (shubee) would have been there ... attending all the events and enjoying his friends and walking the Swap meet tomorrow atleast 20 times trying not to miss a "good deal".
Hope everyone has a wonderful time and safe travels from home to the classic and back home..  Enjoy each other and the VWs legacy.

I know many of us are remembering him and talking about him fondly this weekend.

Well glad ya'll did Hector. Food was always important. He probally would have taken me to Pepe's on the way home.  LOL Him and his mexican food or In-N-Out (which is open in texas now).
We (tx_tom did all the work) put the 58 body on his pretty pan that looks brand new to try to make some more room. it even has the fenders on it. Thank goodness we had alittle help from my brother and a friend Dan.   Organized a few things and now can get to the big stuff i need to get rid of like drill presses and metal press and sandblasters and vacumes ect .  Atlease have a walk way now and can get to a few boxes.

Glad everyone had a good time.

Becky

Thanks Again Tx_Tom   No way i could have even started to get any of that done without you. Didnt know which way to even turn. LOL

YES! The Classic weekend was a busy one for us here in Texas!
While y'all were all having fun, we were having some of our own ... moved a lot of things around in the garage and got Becky some MUCH NEEDED walking around room. Decided the best start was to once again join the pan & body of Shoob's '58 back together (for now) and shuffle other big items like his primo 450 lb. workbench (!!! ... it awesome) for extra space.
Man he did a great job on that pan and so I know the car itself would have been outstanding ,,, probably would've been talking about hauling it out for the next Classic? Yep, probably so ...

Work Bench was full of TONS of projects going on at Once..... We were able to clear it off alittle and move it against the wall.  Atleast there is room to walk. Havent really started getting rid of much yet. Just cant bear to sell Garys Projects yet but ...... i guess I will need to start thinking of that soon.    Sure Miss  my guy..... miss dragging him in from the Garage
