CB Roto Hubs, handbrake/ e brake issues?

Hi all,

I've fitted some CB roto hubs on the rear of my 58, and i'm having some issues.

I've tried to adjust the handbrake up at the nuts on the handle, but even though the mechanism at the back works (the cable pulls and spring compresses) the pads dont bite on the disk? 

However, I havent actually fill and bleed the system yet. Just wondered if the anyone knew if the handbrake is haudralic too? Or is there something wrong with the kit?

I've included a photo if a rear brake caliper in case it helps.

In some types of modern calipers (like those probably) you have to use a normal brake few times in order to adjust the auto adjusters for the handbrake. Handbrake is mechanical but since you never used the main brakes, brake pads and pistons are not in correct working position. Fill it up, bleed it, press the pedal few times and it should work

x3 the hydralics will naturally set the pistons closer, then the cable will work fine, had the same on mine
