hallo,

i bought a new case(auto linea) wich is machined for a sand seal pulley.
i had my normal pulley all ready wich i want to keep.
so can i machine it down to use it with the sand seal and until how many mm. have i have to machine it down then?

It depends. If the case is machined to accept adapter ring for Sand seal thank you have to know the diameter of the inner (sealing part) of the sand seal. Than you have to machine the pulley to fit the sand seal. The standard pulleys groves that though the oil can damage the sand seal and they will leek even though.
