Did the letter say that there was an Article in April 07 Hot VWs?

I thought I remember Dave Cormack (aka KaferDave) writing about EMPI of NY.  I just don't remember how far back that was, and if it was for Hot VWs or VW Trends before they went out of business.

the article was titled "Guarino's Gold"      it was in Hot VWs 2003, i think it was july.....maybe june.  i cant find my copy....too many magazines..
