OK, not sure I really want to do this but I've seen another car I fancy so here goes
1968 Beetle, imported from Hermosa Beach Calif. in the mid 1980's pretty much 'as is'.
The car started life as a semi auto so has IRS from the factory.
Body wise this Bug is very, very solid. Never been welded. Was re-sprayed by a BMW Main dealership in the 90's and is now BMW Alpine white,
Paintwork still looks great but close inspection shows some 'blebs' here and there.
Engine is the same as was in it when imported from Calif. old skool Spec as follows;

Wheels are 6x15" Fuch copies from back in the day
Tyres- 205 rear 175 fronts with plenty of tread.
Front discs and rear drums with studs and Porsche nuts.

New good quality carpet set fitted this year.
Old skool billet dash.
Sabelt harness
Race Trim drivers seat
New Grant wheel
Original Hurst shifter.
Just had Engine oil change and gearbox oil change, both now fully synthetic. Also new Fram racing filter, stainless Scat rocker covers and billet Scat drain plate.
The car came first in class at VWNW concours event this summer.
Is currently sporting some 'outlaw' Porsche style stickers, but these could easily be removed.
Fitted with stainless steel T-bars and Lucas indicators but also have Euro style bumbers that will come with the car.
