english V8 bug ??

 it was at fulbeck in 1973 , there's a bug in the video white/red paint , may be that car was an V8 bug gasser

It was a V8 car - saw it run a few times. There were two or three V8 VWs that ran here in the early 1970s.

BTW, the guy being interviewed is Alan Wigmore, one of the pioneers of UK drag racing and one of the nicest people you could meet. I remember him coming up to me one time in the '90s and saying he'd been following my writing career since the 1970s. I was blown away to learn he'd been following my crap. Sadly Alan passed away some while ago.
