Hey all, I just thought I'd share this video I put together. I spent the last few nights after work playing with my new GoPro camera. Footage isn't the best but this is my first attempt. Enjoy http://youtu.be/vcs-EZKuCDY?hd=1

Really nice - and what a great car! I really liked the section in the beginning where you shoot your garage and all your stuff, especially that overhead shot of the car was really cool. I also liked the edit and the music in that section, everything flowed really nicely. The preset vintage effect on the in-car footage kinda caught my eye and looked a bit out of place, especially compared to the really nice beginning. Other than that, a really great job! That GoPro seems like a really amazing piece of work, have to look into it myself.

That was a realy nice video, you got the touch I would say... Was all the panning(?) shots done by hand? Smooth! Hope to see more hot VW's on Mulholland drive... exterior shots... please

Thanks!
The gearbox is a KCR built 4:37 but I'm running the Firestone Wide Oval tires which are 27" tall.

OUTSTANDING.............
Love the color, love the interior and love the car's details. Makes me want to go home and get mine out just to hear the engine sound. I'd really like to see the car in person, but aren't you located in the San Francisco area? I noted you state this was shot in SoCal.

No, I'm in So-Cal. I moved down here from the Bay Area about 3 years ago.

Many of my friends are using GoPro cameras for motorsport events, but they are generaly usable for such amateur "in car" movies. You have really nice oval bug, with nice details - old three spoke steering wheel, fat biscuit interior and Porsche pulleys on the engine, all in all - great package. Feel free to share more materials when they come...

That was very cool, thanks for posting this. I really dig the sound of DCNF engines. Just a very unique sound. Makes we want to track down another set of 44 DCNF's.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Glad you enjoyed the vid. Hopefully I'll get some better ones made once I start to master this carmera and attend some events.

Nice video. I'm running Weber DCN's (earlier than DCNF's) now and I like them a lot, very simple.
