hi Deano, if you are reading this, possible to post a close pic of the single Setrab on your 67, if you have of course?  saw the small pic on the Hot VW Feb review, wondering where you got those round clamps from, did you use the Setrab brackets as well?.

thanks in advance!  Grin

Not Dean obviously but I mounted mine in the same spot a while back with 2 stainless T-bolt clamps.  The nut tightens and leaves a lot of thread so I put some rubber hose on there, then washer and bolted the Setrab to it with some extra 1/4 28 nuts.  I made a small bracket for the other side and bolted that to the pan.

Simple and cheap pipe clamps work just fine on my Setrap.  Opposite end is attached to Berg trans mount and a bracket  connected to top shock bolt that allows cooler to hang down slightly on an angle to catch the air at speed.  The fan rarely goes on and when it does, it's because the car is standing still.

Since my old cooler died and had the hoses end near the filter location, I thought I'd try mounting the little Setrab there. There is plenty of room for it, although it could use some kind of a grill. So far it has worked excellent! My drive to work thru city roads (under 60kmh) had the oil temp up to 225 deg F and with the new cooler with same drive it was 185 deg F. Perfect so far.  Smiley
