I cannot access the link you have posted.  Have we lost Ray Evensen....? Anyone have a way of reaching Mitch?

Ray was a great guy as is Mitch. I remember when they started racing, they needed an PH8A filter because theirs had issues and we had an extra one. Dad told them he could have it but if we meet up in eliminations we wanted it back...LOL A lot of great friendships start out from times like that.

Yes, Ray passed away.  Ray and Mitch helped me a lot with "Stage Fright", even sponsored me and did all the machine work on my SuperFlow heads and helped me get the car dialed in.  GREAT family and super racers!!  Godspeed Ray !!  . . . . . .  Rick, if you still need Mitch's number, get a hold of me on facebook and I will pass it on to you.

They had their own shop in NAPA California called R&R Machine. Over the years I know it was flooded a couple times when NAPA flooded...causing them a lot of costs getting things going again. I cannot remember what happened later when Mitch left or what took place.

R&R had to close their doors not too terribly long ago. There was a transporation development that was taking over the entire area and they were forced to move along with the other businesses in the area. I was at the shop during the packing as they got ready to close the doors. Mitch said that he could not find a space that was worth him continuing the business. I need to give Mitch a call and see how he is doing. Time flies and then you are here. Something similar happened with my good buddy Vince of Vmar. He had to close his shop (about a mile away from R&R) when the river flood project shut down his and several other businesses.

God Speed Ray,...or better yet...R&R Speed!
