I say charge more for insurance on the big trucks, b/c they are more likely to kill occupants of the cars they crash into.

Really?? Why don't we charge more for gas to and just completely ignore the fact that she was DRUNK!!! If she was driving a Prius on the wrong side of the road he would still be dead, only difference is she would be to

I saw this on the Shop Talk Forums... horrible situation and I truly sympathize with the surviving family.  That stupid drunk woman will have to live that down the rest of her days. 

Also a sobering reminder of the lack of crashworthiness of these air-cooled VWs we love so much... true, it was a big pickup truck versus a small car, but it's like pitting a 40 ounce glass bottle against a 12-ounce aluminum can, comparatively speaking.
