I picked this up at a swap about a year ago, It is an earlier wide spring decklid.  I would love to find some history. Anyone recognize it ?

Funny enough Wink, I work at a VW restoration shop for Rocky Jennings here in Walla Walla (one of the J's in J&J)  That decklid was on an oval drag car in the A/MC class in the late seventies, and held a couple records, in 80 and 81!!  The car eventually got way into the 11's before a new one was built.  I will try to get photos for you Wink

That is cool! My van came from Walla Walla, its got it sign written on it too.
