It has been very intresting to se the development of this engine.
If i remember righ,t first version of this engine where in the range of 160whp, second littlebit stronger and latest just under 200whp.

Personally it will be intresting to se how theese "pipemax" optimazed engines will perform durings this year Wasa Dyno day. Hopefully we will be able to come over the magical 100hp/l.
As normal we have a small competition how will be able to achieve this first with a atmo engine Grin

you are correct,

Evo 1 was 2332cc and 160 whp
Evo 2 was 2386cc and 172 whp
Evo 3 was 2386cc and 195 whp

Evo 3 had 98,7 hp/l so quite close to 100hp/l allready. Cheesy

Cool projects and impressive results! 100 whp pr liter is quite something!
Getting the header short is a tricky task... don't you just hate the shape of the sump...  with a different shape in the rear end you get a better shot directly at the collector with you pipes.
What length primary's  are you aiming at?

Oh sorry,  98,7 hp/L from the engine... That from wheel would really be something! Cheesy

That sump is really pain in the ass, but I got them quite close to what I need.
I'm targeting to 667-729mm so it would be good for 5400rpm to 8400rpm

What I managed to do was 735mm +/- 10mm... it shoud be ok for 8000rpm But it might be that my pipe size is bit too small now... Sad
But we will be wiser after dyno. I have also "stock" 2" header that I will test and see what is the difference between headers. Smiley

Btw

First test runs completed last Saturday. Smiley

Ho Ho Ho,

Over a year from last posting.  Huh

Well I have an excuse, winter passed very fast because of our new baby girl (now 10 months old) Smiley
But I got some last year problems solved just to find out new ones. Smiley

But after all challenges myseason started last weekend at Pori Airfield.

Made one decent run, still missing 4th gear change. Then in last 2 runs I missed second gear... Sad So I think I need some practice for driving.
Here is some incar and outcar action. Smiley

Next race is next Saturday so no need to wait too long! Smiley
